RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide translation on technical documents and lead translation in technical meetings.
2. Support all phases the design, engineering, construction and start-up of plant
3. Serve as local coordinator/focal point for the project front end activities, including permitting studies, geotechnical survey, Environmental Baseline Investigation, liaison with local authorities, work with design institute on conversion of US basic design to Chinese requirements, support FEED activities, participate in selection of project management company, support EPC contractors evaluation, support EPC bid evaluation, support project approval process at government level, support land acquisition process, securing construction permits
4. Support detailed engineering, procurement and construction phases of the project, working closely EPC contractor, EPCM firm, local authorities, THE COMPANY project team and supporting functions, etc.
5. Primary local technical support for expat General Manager/Project Director to ensure smooth execution of the project
6. Facilitate communication with the company project team (in US, Singapore, China)
7. Support Administrative Assistant in translation of technical documents, etc.
8. Engineer in accordance with codes, standards, and good design practices.
9. Report progress and costs on the project
10. Provide timely documentation of equipment design and specification and keep engineering documents.
