Objectives:

- Manage and coordinate all purchasing issues within his/her commodity group.

Key operational responsibilities:

- Manage budgets, price negotiation and coordinate all purchasing activities within his/her commodity area.

- Identify, develop and optimize supply base in China to support global commodity team and facilitate global purchasing activities.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of purchasing strategy in agreement with the global strategy.

- Define a best practice strategy working at globalizing purchasing in order to achieve competitive advantage and cost savings.

- Lead interface with suppliers and manage the relationships with suppliers, who can provide technological innovations and continuous improved quality applicable to Electrolux products and processes.

- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the implementation of identified projects.

- Continuously evaluate the supplier market and market trends.

Operational to Senior Commodity Manager Electrical, functional to Global Commodity Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor degree or above.

- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, production or R&D functions in related industry;

- Hands-on operational experience and good understanding of processes.

- Stature to deal with top management internally and externally;

- A broad business perspective with strong business-financial skills;

- Strong communication skills and team playing skills;

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills;

- International mindset and cross-cultural versatility;

- Energetic, creative, mature, flexible;

- Fluent English; any other language is an asset.

- Willingness to travel extensively domestically and abroad
