EDUCATION:
Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering. PhD preferred.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
1.Demonstrated advanced skills in OpenGL and or DirectX.
2.Shading language experience a plus.
3.Strong background in C++ programming.
4.Expert knowledge of software design involving OO (面向对象的)Analysis and Design.
5.Proven understanding of software development processes, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance
6.Previous experience with Agile/Scrum development (敏捷开发) processes preferred
7.A track record demonstrating strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
8.Excellent communication skills, good English skills
9.Must be able to communicate with a team of professionals in North America as well as in China and must be able to write clear, technical documents and presentation materials
10.Must be a team player and work well with cross-functional teams


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs a team of developers to do software design, implementation, and integration primarily related to graphics
*Performs hands on software design and works with a team of graphics developers to implement the design, primarily related to graphics systems
*Performs design, implementation and maintenance of graphics software components
*Proactively communicates documented designs with NA teams and participates in design discussions to explain and defend design decisions

Develops software and functionality to meet design specifications including non-function requirements for performance and scalability
*Develop software functionality to meet project objectives and comply with all underlying architecture requirements
*Develop documentation material as needed

Validates new capabilities in the software and assures product quality:
*Performs complex bug fixing, testing and verification and reporting.
*Creates and maintains unit tests and integration tests for functionality, capacity, and scalability
*Resolve build and porting issues

Builds and maintains a team of highly dedicated graphics software developers, providing training, feedback and expertise to increase the teams professional and technical competencies

Monitors team effectively and efficiencies and report on a regular basis

Works with tight deadlines and deliver high quality, spec-compliant software on time

Develops/maintains various periodic and ad hoc reports regarding product/system performance and robustness

Responsible for initiating and escalating issues, risks and concerns on graphics components and subsystems

Takes ownership for graphics systems development and maintenance and ensures graphics works well with other application systems.
