Platform diagnostics team has immediate opening for section manager of diagnostic release. Key responsibilities of the position is listed below

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create diagnostics release POR (Plan Of Record) and drive the accuracy of deliveries
• Manage diagnostics release process from release planning, execution, testing through final release, and handle day-to-day release activities
• Coordinate communication between development team and release team, make sure release issues are resolved in timely manner, and properly escalated when needed.
• Coordinate diagnostics release weekly meeting between local team and North American team
• Lead the team to finish all testing for the release
• Coordinate the diagnostics release to external teams
• Responsible for diagnostic release documents
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Drive continuous release process improvement through trend reporting analysis, metric, etc

REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. or M.S. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
• Excellent English required – verbal and written (MUST)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• A minimum of 6+ years work experience, 2+ years experience as release manager or leader, or program manager.
• Solid understanding for software development process
• Hands-on experience in Linux, script language and configuration management (e.g. SVN, CVS)
• Good knowledge of C/C++ programming or other coding experience.
• Ability to create technical documents
• Ability to motivate, influence and mentor team members
• Debugging and testing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in semiconductor industry is highly desired
• Knowledge for any of 3D, PCIE, Memory and Display is highly desired
