PDU Microwave & Mobile Backhaul is part of DU IP & Broadband within BNET, head office is placed in Mölndal with sites in Milan, Budapest and Beijing.

The PDU M&M pushes innovation and leads the product development in the area of Microwave transmission with high volume products such as MINI-LINK as well known trade marks.

Ericsson is world leader in the Microwave Transmission area and we intend to stay there and improve our position further.

In NDO SP we are have the full PLCM responsibility for the Smart Packet (SP) products. We are now starting development of the next generation SP product, presently called SP R2. We will develop a new HW platform which will be the base for the new SP family. The SW will be based on CBA (Component Based Architecture). The time schedule is tight with the first release targeting September 2013. This is a crucial development in PDU Microwave & Mobile Backhaul.

As the SP R2 program manager you will lead the development of our next generation product.

You will drive the day to day issue resolution with a look out for lead time critical and upcoming showstoppers for the future release, with a balance between short and mid term thinking. As a leader, you also have a long term perspective, without loosing focus on the critical path of the upcoming releases. You delegate and grow leaders around you, by actively and openly discussing challenges and opportunities.

The development will be executed according to our agile WoW, Streamline development. You should have experience from similar WoW.

You will cooperate and communicate with colleagues all over the world for the best of Ericsson - excellent English and inter-cultural communication skills are required as well as ability to travel abroad.

Your work will include

- Program management

- Planning of resources, budget, schedules, execution and release

- Risk understanding, management and mitigation

- Motivating the project members and stakeholders, driving one Ericsson approach, and a good team spirit also in difficult times

- Relationship & delivery commitment building across Ericsson organizations, understanding and communicating our common challenges in a balanced way to find solutions

Qualifications

- Master of Science or equivalent

- More than 8 years of technical project management experience

- Record of successful project management experiences

- Strong project management competence and excellent communication skills

- Can generate energy and has a passion to win

- Strong push for excellence

- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

- Interest and experience in agile WoW

- Thorough understanding and experience on project management process and applicable processes, methods and tools for development and testing

- Excellent skills in written and spoken English

- Solid experience within telecommunication
