JOB TITLE: Network Consultant
SUMMARY:
As a Network Consultant, you will be responsible for managing customer requirements and proposing solutions utilizing Ericsson and 3rd party products. You should be competent in handling constant change of scope and displaying leadership with respect to Ericsson resources as well as third party suppliers and subcontractors. You will be placed at the centre of activities, entailing a high level of interaction with Market Units, support teams as well as Customer, Technical, Marketing teams.
IMPACT:
Improve customer satisfaction of delivered services, products and solutions. Enhance customer perception of Ericsson's services, products and solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze complex customer requirements and propose technical and competence developments solutions in new product areas and domains, required to enhance customer's competitive position.
- Specify and design a technical and/or competence developing solution in co-operation with the customer. The solution often leads to further development and improvement of customers' organization and processes.
- Drive changes in the methods, processes and guidelines within the customer organization or internally. Also acts as a leader/mentor in day to day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues.
- Drive Add on sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.
- Manage teams of less experienced Service Engineers in Customer Projects to ensure that they are delivered according to expectations and plans.
- Follow up the delivered products and solutions on a agreed regular basis with the customer to keep informed about the life cycle evolvement of the implemented customer solution.
- Recognized as a leader in knowledge sharing/communities
- Expected to travel internationally and sometimes on short notice with variable durations (up to 50% per year).

Qualifications
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Pertinent Experience - Over 5 years of experience in a telecommunications environment where at least 5 of those years are in a solution architect position or equivalent.
