Department:
The Business development director or manager is responsible for developing the country strategy and business targets for the division. We strive to become mJoule’s Sr. Management’s advisors of choice by developing data-driven analysis that helps them make the most important strategic decisions in our business. We help the Company maximize its return on capital within International markets by focusing on business unit strategy, cost improvement, revenue growth initiatives, and acquisition opportunities, among others.
This position entails formulating and executing strategies for multiple lines of business, analyzing business performance, assessing industry trends, gauging impact of regulatory requirements on business operations, and partnering with various stakeholders to pursue new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of outstanding analytical and strategic abilities, deep knowledge of mobile media landscape in China, solid relationship skills with an ability to relate to different personalities, superior written and oral presentation skills, and significant initiative and ability to successfully launch and execute projects from beginning to end.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Report to CEO to develop new growth strategies across all lines of business
? Pursue new business development opportunities by identifying potential partners, assessing market studies, reviewing competitive landscape, determining alignment with mJoule assets and strategic goals, and analyzing P&L impact
2) Participate in the development of broad-ranging analysis and presentations across all businesses for China
? Develop high-level data driven analyses based on business needs and opportunities
? Develop informative and impactful presentations
? Concisely articulate story and recommendations within presentations
? Present in insightful and professional manner to Executives
3) Assist in annual rolling forecast process
4) Assist in business transactions as required
5) Develop relationships across GroupM
? Establish relationships with key agencies within GroupM.
6) Help identify opportunities, processes or systems that could lead to the improvement of on-going business operations
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
? Possess Bachelors of Degree in sales or marketing or MBA or equivalent
? 6+ years’ experience in international mobile media or related industry, including experience in a strategy consulting firm
? Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to drive changes, build long-term strategic partnerships and develop new business opportunities Experiencing negotiating large, multinational corporate transactions
? Superior written and verbal communication skills
? Outstanding strategic, analytical and conceptual abilities
? High proficiency with PowerPoint and ability to build analytical and financial models in Excel
? Ability to build effective working relationships and credibility with staff at all levels, and all functional and cultural backgrounds
