Pearson VUE – Accounting Officer

This is an exceptional opportunity based in Beijing for a highly professional individual keen to join a profitable and rapidly expanding business. We are well respected in the market.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Officer is responsible for a variety of duties regarding the Accounting, Reconciliation, Invoicing and Credit Control Activities, Cash Management, and Control. The responsibilities include assisting the Finance Manager by providing necessary inputs for her review and execution of accounting and financial control. You will work closely with the Finance and Business teams to support the work on cost model for prospects when needed as well as support and contribute to budgetary process for new business deals and regular budgeting, forecasting and LRP activities.

Essential skills, Qualifications and competences:

1. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese
2. Fluency in written and spoken English
3. Educated to degree level or equivalent in Accounting and Finance area
4. Experience of working as accountant in foreign-invested companies in China, with certificate of accountant.
5. Experience of VAT invoice handling is preferred.
6. Experience and understanding of working in an ERP environment
7. Experience of Microsoft Office products and technologies, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
8. Very detailed, logical and common sense approach to objectives, goals and projects.
9. Cooperative and proactive, good team player, willing to work under pressure..
10.A ‘can-do’ and ‘can-do-now’ attitude! A very high pace in completion of objectives and actions.
11.Familiar and comfortable working in a busy corporate environment
12.Strong organisational skills couple with the ability to work on own initiative.
