Role Purpose
To identify and develop new future proof business models, revenue streams & working processes.
Identify and develop business opportunities with external partners and act as internal trainer for staff on market trends, new concepts and product etc.
Responsible for company long term business planning & strategy.
Key Accountabilities
FUTURE BUSINESS PLANNIG
?On direction of management maintain and develop long term and short term business plans from 1 to 5 years
?Identify opportunities to re-engineer business processes for improved efficiency or value across the whole business, and lead the structuring of appropriate technology-driven solutions.
?Collaborate with Global and regional Aegis/Posterscope offices on Global Partnerships and Technology Platforms and facilitate implementation in China.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
?Lead strategic planning on specific clients / pitches / campaigns working with internal planning team and agency planners;
?Create differentiated, innovative out-of-home communication solutions in response to select client briefs, whilst at the same time identifying brands across our client base that should be proactively targeted with particular products, ideas or initiatives.
?Provide to clients reasoned and informed opinions and advice regarding the processes, effectiveness, role and value of innovations-based platforms and communications plans.
?Devise and deliver solutions for our clients’ campaigns which allow them to maximise their earned media, and integrate their out-of-home plan with online / social media (O2O)
?Working with internal insight and analytics resources, be highly skilled in the use and understanding of CCS/OCS and other proprietary research studies.
IDENTIFICATION & DEVELOPMENT OF OPPORTUNITIES (NEW REVENUE STREAMS / NEW BUSINESS MODELS)
?Identify and lead the delivery of new internal and external products which offer Posterscope and our clients’ competitive advantage, specifically in the fields of digital out-of-home, mobile, new technologies, or new trading models (such as payment by results, cost per response etc).
?Explore and mine new supplier or agency relationships that offer opportunities to develop clients’ business in new, innovative ways. Companies that offer expertise in ‘non-media’ channels (such as retail, art, utility, content, data, public authorities) are of particular interest.
?Foster & lead collaboration between Posterscope and other companies within the Aegis portfolio (Wwwins Isobar, Isobar NowLab, Amnet, OMP etc)
?Create and deliver training to internal and external partners focused on new opportunities/products.
MARKETING
?Produce and distribute marketing materials from products / clients’ campaigns/research with a particular focus on communicating insights & results.
?Support the business corporate communication requirements as necessary and directed by management.

Personal Specification
DESIRABLE QUALITIES
?Must be bilingual (Mandarin, English)
?Should be highly skilled in the delivery of client presentations, and be confident in selling your ideas through logical reasoning and creative delivery of concepts (both written and spoken).
?Be strategic, creative, innovative and open-minded, with an appetite for understanding new technologies, and be generally technologically-savvy!
?Should be comfortable with media currencies (GRP etc) and their use in planning. Furthermore should be comfortable managing numbers and data.
?Work independently, relying on line managers for strategic, rather than functional, advice, and have the knowledge to make appropriate judgment calls.
?Have a wider interest in the media market as a whole, which will result in the commitment to do out of hours training, reading and studying etc.
?Be enthusiastic and passionate about what you do, and about the ideas you bring to the table.
?Be able to explain convergent issues and opportunities to our clients, and be able to influence them to integrate innovative solutions into their out-of-home media plans.
?Enjoy training and teaching others – after all you should be an early adopter and you will need to take others with you!
