Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. Leads team to develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions -Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and create process routings -Design and build / procure necessary tooling and finishing within budgets -Support equipment upgrades from purchase through installation -Conduct cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and/or equipment -Support EHS projects in cell -Drive Process Improvement / Cycle Reduction initiatives and drive productivity improvements via process changes or improvements -Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment -Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by process variation -Support the quality function through integration of ISO/QC documentation and Manufacturing methods Instructions -Lead high impact process and quality improvement projects yielding significant reduction in defects and increased productivity in the Cell -Lead sample built and pilot-run for new product. -Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed -Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or mechanism-6+year experience industrialization or process in industrial company-2+ year experience of leadership experience-Strong manufacture processes knowledge-Practiced in office software, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid-work are preferred-Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred-Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions-Strong organizational skills-Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously-Ability to work in a matrix organization -Strong interpersonal and leadership skills-Strong oral and written bilingual communication skills-Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects-Strong project and team leadership
