职位描述
The Membership Coordinator is responsible of specific membership related issues and European Chamber matters generally as specified below.
The job involves the development of the membership in Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen.
MEMBERSHIPS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Development:
· Prepare lists of potential members per sector related to the Forums. Develop the memberships focusing primarily on the industrial/service/trade sectors present in the Pearl River Delta. Prepare membership development campaigns.
Prospection:
· Contact, meet and provide information to potential members. Need prepare materials for visits (brochure, all publications, MAF, contact details of visited person)
· Make special reporting on a weekly basis to the GM on the statistics related to memberships and assist the centralized Membership Administrator based in BJ with the updating of the database.
Follow up:
· Provide all information regarding payment and invoice to new members and reply to members’ queries.
· Upload members information/data on backend
Renewals:
Cooperate with other chapters, in particular by attending the weekly conference call of the Membership Managers China-wide.
Present to the GM a development strategy for membership renewal, asking input from the Business, Marketing Manager and Membership Manager in Beijing.
BD Advertising Sales
● If required by GM, the Membership Coordinator will also sell BD advertising in
coordination with the Marketing Manager. (BD Advertising Sales period approx. Sep to Nov).
EVENTS (so far about 1 event per month in Zhuhai or Zhongshan)
● The events not on topics related to WG and Forums in ZZ
Events will be, but not exclusively, GM lunch meeting, Speed Meetings, business networking events…etc.
Events management
Logistics (venue, catering). Email registration, attendance, accounting. Callings or meetings companies to encourage participation.
● The events related to WG and Forums managed by the BM in SZ (HR, SME, SCA, Logistics, Manufacturing) and by the DM in GZ (Legal & Taxation, IPR, Environment, Sourcing, Banking round table)
Events management
Same as for the event not related to WGs. Not in charge of speakers and content.
Other duties as required by the GM.
Qualifications
Professional Profile and personal skills: preferably 2 years experience, if possible as a sales person; candidacy of young graduates with high potential will also be considered. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Should have excellent interpersonal skills. Should be results-oriented, self-motivated and energetic.
