JOB TITLE: Assistant Tax Manager/Tax Manager



Responsibilities


* Provide advisory services to foreign and local clients on a wide range of China trade and customs related issues such as customs valuation, customs classification, processing trade, duty free importations, special customs zones, customs audits/investigations, origin of goods and free trade agreements;

* Assist in technical research, interview with client management, report drafting throughout the engagements;

* Assist in communication with trade and customs related PRC government bodies; and

* Assist in business development activities such as seminars, workshops and presentations.

Requirements

* Degree holder in accounting, taxation, business, economics, law or other related disciplines, preferably holding professional qualification in customs and international trade;

* Minimum three years’ related advisory experience in big 4 accounting firms, international law firms or other consulting firms, or related experience in government bodies;

* Good industrial and customs network would be a plus;

* Good command of both written and spoken English;

* Good communication and interpersonal skills; and

* A desire to pursue a career in the field of trade and customs.
