Key Objectives:

• For future products, BMW China needs to develop new car interior components, which are meeting the Chinese customer needs. These innovations will be created in co-operation with the headquarter in Munich.

• In this regard you will create taylor cutted solutions for automotive subsystems or test cars, according to the Chinese customer wish. To do so, you will design and install prototyping components, such as: ECU, displays, video cameras, recording devices, data loggers, sensors. These components have to be integrated into cars and automotive subsystems.

• You will self-responsibly work out these solutions and secure that an implementation into new BMW automotive products is technically guaranteed. In order to manage that, you have advanced experience in developing hardware and software for embedded systems. You also have a thorough understanding of the automotive electronic architecture (CAN, MOST, Ethernet, FlexRay).

Major Responsibilities:

• Technical planning, coordination and implementation of new car interior prototypes (software and electronic hardware equipment) for build-ups in Beijing

• Research, purchasing and installation of sensors, control units, data loggers into prototypes

• Alignment with the process partners (e.g. marketing, R&D headquarter), to secure a smooth development process

Education / Degree:

• Major in Electrical Engineering

• Min 2 years of job experience

Knowledge / Skills / Competences:

• Programming skills: C, C++, JAVA

• Experience in designing and building up electronic components (SPICE simulation, PCB design software).

• Knowledge of car communication networks (CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay) and architectures

• Matlab/Simulink

• Team Work and good communication skills

• English skills

• Driving license (China) and driving experience

Experience:

• 1~3 years of professional skills concerning electronic components (hardware & software implementation)

• 1~3 years of experience in server environment, architecture and network management

• 1~3 years of experience in automotive industry
