The supply chain manager is responsible for the logistical process that brings a product or products from its raw material form to the point at which it is available for sale or use. The scope includes management and leadership that comprise the entire supply chain process: planning, development, manufacturing, logistics and point of distribution.


Responsibilities/Tasks

Ensures the successful execution of higher level logistics tasks in Asia Pacific region
Plans and develops the interface within the supply chain including -procurement, production, inventory management (JIT), logistics and distribution
Support regional and BU activities in import and export supply from Asia Pacific
Develop procedures and protocol to standardize a methodology for all supply chain activity
Create a robust supply chain model at each level of supplier integration with F-M product value stream
Identify cost reduction and saving within the supply chain
Reduce waste and shorten supply chains within core product lines, prioritizing by the level of value contribution
Escalates all supply chain related issues occurring in Asia to the respective management attention and ensures a efficient and trouble free supply

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree;
Education and training in Supply Chain Management preferred.
At least 10 years experience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, logistcs environment;
Extensive experience with customer and supplier relations/service;
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to influence the behavior of peers and others outside the direct reporting line;
Ability to initiate, lead and sustain change;
Strong oral and written communications skills;
Preferred Mandarin speaker or as a second language;
Strong data driven decision making skills;
Project Management experience and skills;
Creative and innovative thinking;
Must be willing to travel.
