We are looking for a high caliber person to join us as:

Visual Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

Merchandising Standards
? Maintain the in-store presentation, visual standards, and housekeeping standards.
? Maintain product visibility with regards to department location.
? Negotiate appropriate share of windows and mannequins and ensure that mannequins and featured displays reflect the newest deliveries and/or represent items featured in national ads and catalogues whenever possible.

Training and Store Support
? Develop strong working relationships with store personnel and conduct in store visits.
? Plan and execute trunk shows, seminars, in-store events and sales contests.
? Train and develop creative selling techniques with Designated Sales Associates in order to drive sales volume.
? Review and monitor client book productivity in order to cultivate additional business and develop new customers.
? Partner with Department Managers to determine sales performance and develop strategies to react to specific trends.
? Responsible for all aspects of trunk shows to guarantee that Canali standards are maintained and maximum sales are achieved.

Corporate and Quantitative Responsibilities
? Communicate verbally or in writing with the Wholesale Director on a daily basis the status of accounts related to presentation, inventory levels, opportunities, challenges, and personnel issues.
? Analyze business by style, group and door on a as needed basis.
? Recommend swaps and transfers in reaction to current business.
? Anticipate opportunities and trouble spots and create a plan of action to be presented to the Wholesale Director.
? Travel to Corporate office two to four times per year to assist during the selling season.
? Review initial orders/assortments and recommend addition and replacement styles.

Requirements:
? Diploma or University graduate in related disciplines
? 3-5 years relevant working experience
? Able to work independently
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
? Good command of English
? Proficiency in Microsoft office application software
