Job Description:
The Senior Marcom Director will be responsible for the corporate brand, corporate positioning and messaging, PR and social media. This is a high-visibility, important role for the company as we accelerate into our next phase of growth.
·Develop and implement the local marketing strategy that will improve the organization's competitive position and is consistent with the company's growth strategy
·Lead marketing campaigns to meet business objective and enhance the company's awareness & value proposition to the China market
·Coordinate with BU and corporate marcom team to ensure marketing strategies and campaigns are aligned with the overall business objectives
·Lead, manage and mentor the China Public Affairs team
·Develop compelling thought leadership platforms and stories, create content (press release, bylined article….etc.), pitch to and place content with a wide range of media outlets, including business, trade, industry and IT.
·Develop and deliver insightful presentations and strategies to BU and executives where appropriate
·Develop and execute the social media strategy as an integrated component of our broader thought leadership, awareness, and demand generation strategies
·Plan and administer the company’s marcom budget in China
Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree in marketing, mass communication or relevant field of study
2. Have a deep understanding and fluency with all marketing communication disciplines, include advertising, media, digital, social media and PR
3. Experience in B2B marketing in semiconductor/Telecom industry preferred
4. Over 15 years of working experience in multinational company with at least 10 years in B2B marketing and 5 years managerial experience
5. Demonstrable leadership and management skills
6. Strong interpersonal skill, confidence and professionalism in working with senior executive and external parties
7. Strong, multifaceted project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns
8. Proven leadership skills, independent, proactive and self disciplined
9. Excellent English and Chinese communication skills
