Job Description:
Working as part of a team,and taking the leadership role in assuring quality delivery,while coaching other Testers,the QA Testing Lead will be responsible to build and execute comprehensive test cases for Web-based applications.
Areas of Responsibility:
-Coordinating with project team members to understand client's requirement,building up effective Test Case and Scripts
-Performing compatibility,comparability,localization,functionality,integration,regression,and performance testing.
-Analyzing test run results,debugging application issues and sending out reports to project stakeholders
-Continuously improve Quality Assurance processes.Reproducing root cause investigation,helping to define,establish,and enforce best practices for the team.
-Set up the test environment
-Adhere to Profero tools and processes
-Coaching Testers
Required Education
-Education in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
-Good English language skills(speaking and writing) are essential
Required Experience and skills:
-Three to five years of Quality Assurance Testing experience,including 1 year in leadership positions
-Proven QA test experience in Web-based environments,including websites,web-applications,and mobile
-Good understanding of HTML,CSS,JavaScript,other web UI technologies
-Outstanding problem-solving skills
-Ability to set priorities,offer flexibility,meet deadlines,and work independently
-Highly motivated,enjoys fast paced environment
-Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail,a perfectionist attitude are highly desired
Desired Skills:
-Experience handling simultaneously multiple projects
-Experience working with social network(such as Facebook,RenRen,Twitter, Weibo,QQ) is a plus
-Familiarity with PHP or .NET
-Familiarity with Redmine,Basecamp.Mantis,or other open source bug tracking tools will be a plus
-Familiarity with Agile practices,and software development lifecycle will be a plus
