POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the identification, qualification, and direct management of new business opportunities for measurement products in the Oil and Gas sector of China.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Primary focus will be on Oil & Gas accounts which include: Oil & Gas producers, service companies (i.e., fracturing, wellhead control, artificial lift, etc.) and production equipment packagers (i.e., separators, heater treaters, amine units, glycol units, etc.).
§ Direct sales calls will be made to develop relationships resulting in product sales opportunities for SOR.
§ Must technically understand products and features as well as competitors’ products.
§ Collect project information from the applicable design institutes.
§ Develop knowledge of the competitors’ pricing and bidding strategy.
§ Maintain active and accurate Project Tracking Reports and customer contact database.
§ All other functions/responsibilities assigned by manager.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
§ University or College Graduate.
§ Engineering or Technological Process Degree preferred.


REQUIRED SKILLS
§ Experience promoting and selling technical products to the targeted Oil and Gas customer base.
§ High level understanding of the operations and commercial practices of the customer base.
§ Understand the technologies used in Oil and Gas.
§ Excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively to design engineers at design institutes.
§ Strong problem solving skills
§ Good thinker, action oriented
§ Good people skills
§ Highly organized
§ Electronically capable and computer savvy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Business Systems)
§ Detail oriented

§ Fluency in Chinese and English language required.
