Key Objectives
• Future electric vehicles do not only require new and different functionality in the car, it will also be accompanied with new services implemented on a back-end, consumer electronic devices (e.g. mobile phones) and within the charging infrastructure.

• This position should its setup to implement new functions and features within this domain and requires knowledge in all areas to create consistently integrated solutions.

Major Responsibilities
• Within the scope of mobility solutions are responsible for the end-to-end development solutions and concept from technical design to SoP with respect to cost, quality and time. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the integration of this functionality into other components and with different project and process partners.

• Coordination with internal process partners.

• Cooperation with / management of the international software development partners.

Education / Degree
• Master University Degree in informatics, information/computer science or equivalent.

• Least 2 years of working experience within at least two project with different technical scope.

Knowledge / Skills / Competences
• You acquired substantial knowledge and experience in software development and software engineering in the fields of mobile devices, embedded systems, as well as back-end services.

• You are familiar with object orientated software development and do have extensive hands on experience with larger projects in C/C++, Objective-C, Java (J2SE/J2ME/Android) for at least on of the given platforms: iPhone, Android, BlackBerry. Knowledge of other client side technologies like Adobe Flash/Flex, JavaScript applications and according runtimes is a plus.

• You do have a sound understanding of distributed systems based on TCP/IP and have experience with state of the art technologies to implement those applications, e.g. HTTP/REST, Web Services/XML RPC, etc.. Expected knowledge includes software development processes, testing methods as well as software quality management.

• Knowledge of vehicle infotainment systems based on QNX, WindowsCE or Linux and automotive bus systems (CAN/MOST/FlexRay) is appreciated.

• Basic requirements for this position include advanced team and communication skills, capability to independently deal with multi-layered technical challenges along with senior project and process management skills.

• Fluent English is essential.

Experience
• Software development (infotainment / apps / embedded).
