职位描述

Key Objectives:


  • Optimization of gross profit.
  • Evaluate and improve profitability of product and price scenarios through financial evaluation and Business Case calculation and derived recommendations, thereby support the management of BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd in strategic and operational decision-making on products and prices.
  • Financial analysis and evaluations of new products, option profiles and ex-factory prices and optimization of the Sales Result. Furthermore support of price calculation update.
  • Performed well, the position has a significant impact on the mid- and long-term profitability of BMW China.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Price planning and profit calculations (evaluation of Ex-Factory-Price proposals, retail prices, options packages):

  1. Model specific analysis with regard to the calculations for an optimization of the price, sales and profit situation;
  2. Consultation with regard to the maximum utilization of profit potentials and stipulation of taking concrete price actions;
  3. Frequent revision and updating of price calculations on the basis of FX rate, Retail price, option profile and tax/duty changes;
  4. Analysis of calculation content, e.g. duties, taxes, freight, NSC margin etc;
  5. Securing an adequate calculation structure and minimizing the deviations of central and local systems.


  • Financial Analysis (Business Cases/Evaluation):


  1. Financial evaluation of proposals with regard to price positioning for cars and option packages (for both new and current models) for normal price round (March/ September) and market required price changes (flexible specific actions during year);
  2. Financial Evaluation of proposed EFP adjustments and sales actions programs and preparation of corresponding proposals;
  3. Financial analysis of package changes (new models, repositioning, normal price round and flexible actions during year);
  4. Financial analysis of FX-rate scenarios and calculation of concrete FX-Rate support.



  • Self dependent calculation of market scenarios with effects on both AG and BMW China business case with consideration of current year as well as of long range implications, to facilitate decisions in China and BMW AG regarding new profiles, new variants, new prices, mix changes etc.


  • Alignment with AG Central departments (e.g. FC-1x, VS-1x, VP-Lx).
    Suitable preparation and discussion of the results.


  • Financial Analysis (business cases, evaluations) for PPM and options packages:


  1. Evaluation of profile changes (calculate effect on group contribution to facilitate decision in the market regarding new profiles, new variants; preparation for discussion with AG Central Departments (BV-1x, BP-Lx, FC-4x, FC-CN);

Coordination of the reconcilement between local Product Planning, Finance & Controlling and respective AG departments to get a common point of view with regard to pricing and product proposals for the PPC, B-circle, PK and VS boards;

Support Price Planning and Calculation (evaluation of Ex-Factory Price proposals) and financial reporting in consideration of the contribution optimization for both Region B5 and BMW AG.



Supporting financial evaluations within the China Strategy.
Formulation of recommended actions and initialization of measures for achievement of the given cost and contribution targets in consideration of the strategic framework and business environment.

Analyses and recommendations on company car programs from the financial perspective.


Financial evaluation of sales support programs as an input to CoR Controlling team as needed. Prepare alternative proposals where needed.

Ad-hoc assignments on profitability and price calculations, e.g. for associates' company car program.


Profitability calculation on other programs as needed.


Product related financial reporting to Management.



Education / Degree:


  • Bachelor / Master degree in Business Administration or Finance/Accounting


Knowledge / Skills / Competences:


  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both in written and oral
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)

  • Familiar with PRC GAAP & IFRS and taxation; Familiar with BMW Group pricing systems.

  • Very strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, good sense to figures and quick perception.

  • Profound Sales & Marketing Controlling know-how

  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Convincing demeanor and assertiveness.

  • Able to work independently and be a team player with strong sense of responsibility and can work under pressure

  • Strategic thinking capability


Experience:


  • 4~6 years of working experiences in finance field in multinational company, e.g. in Sales & Marketing Controlling
  • 4~6 years of profound experience in the calculation of Business Cases
