The successful Senior Technical Program Manager candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, has strong attention to detail, and is able to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. The candidate has excellent customer-facing presentation and communication skills. They have strong planning, coordination, risk management, and status-reporting abilities. They have a track record of successfully delivering projects with large distributed teams, and they effectively communicate at all levels of internal and customer organizations.
Responsbilities:
? Direct accountability and responsibility for overall planning, delivery and operational success of our customer solutions from start to finish
? Collaborate with Product Management, Research and Development and Hosted Operations team leads to establish a strategy that ensures on-time and on-budget delivery of a quality solution
? Define and communicate program objectives, requirements, schedule, risks, and cost
? Coordinate large distributed teams to develop and deliver complex software solutions and meet program objectives
? Analyze Key Performance Indicators to understand and communicate progress
? Proactively and resourcefully manage and resolve issues
? Manage the customer interface to ensure proper and effective flow of program information
? Manage communication and relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate visibility into progress, risks and requests for assistance
Qualfication
Number of Years of Work Experience: ? 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience in a Professional Services capacity working directly with customers
Required Skills: ? Experience managing large distributed cross-functional teams of diverse subject-matter-experts
? Demonstrable success planning and managing Scope, Schedule, Cost, Resources, Quality, and Risks
? Ability to multitask and prioritize
? Excellent written and oral communications skills
? Ability to build, lead, develop, coach, and motivate a team
? Willingness to travel as required
? Aptitude for learning and adapting to new Processes & Tools
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project
Preferred Skills: ? Business and/or technical experience with speech recognition technology
? Experience managing programs to develop technology to the mobile market
? Technical understanding of mobile and cloud architectures
? Experience with Budget Management / Variance Tracking
? PMP certification
Education: ? B.S. computer science or a similar field; Masters/MBA or higher preferred
