职位描述
Job title: Unit Manager
Reference to: Factory Manager
Department: Fittings Dep.
Main purpose of the job / Mission:
Develop and coordinate the unit. Responsible for securing that the unit meets short and long term goals and customer expectations. Actively work with operational interfaces, communicate, coordination and optimization.
Key tasks:
? Responsible for the performance and output of the unit, including financial responsibility P3;
? Set and follow up targets for the unit, broken down from factory level;
? Drive the development of the unit;
? Responsible for:
a. safety and quality of the processes and products;
b. quality;
c. delivery;
d. cost;
? Secure Standardized work & SOP;
? Participate in making the Operational plan;
? Make costing update for the unit;
? Support and initiate supplier development activities together with support functions;
? Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities;
? Understand and deal with the real problems of the unit by being present ;
? Involved in new product development and give input to EPD (Existing Product Development);
? Secure ALPS / Lean Six Sigma / 5S and other Operations initiative in the unit;
? Perform audits according to ALPS;
? Responsible for that ALPS Supply chain processes within the unit are implemented and maintained;
? Coordinating with other department on facility management including machinery maintenance;
? Cross function with other internal departments and external sources, to resolve both issues and conflicts that form barriers to the attainment of manufacturing related issues;

Competencies/ Profile:

Qualifications & experience:
? Master of Engineering or equivalent experience;
? Leadership and management skills and experience;
? 3-5 years of experience from production/manufacturing company;
? Experience from improvement tools, e g Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen;
? Project work experience;
? Automotive industry will be prefer;
Key relationships:
? Team Managers;
? Team Leaders;
? Factory Manager;
? Other Unit Managers;
? Support functions;
? Customers, internal and external;
? Suppliers, internal and external;
? Unions, if applicable;
Authority level / Power of procuration:
? Financial authority to execute within the Unit′s P3 costing update frame;
? Break down the Unit′s overall targets into targets for each Team / Function;
? Follow up targets and take corrective actions in case of deviations;
? To stop production within the Unit in case of safety / quality / environmental deviations;
? To make ALPC and ALSC audits within the Unit and take corrective actions in case of deviations;
? To execute organizational changes in agreement with FM;
? To delegate tasks in the organization;
? To set salaries within given frame;
