POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for develop new product - the product is epoxy resin for electronic industry.
- Research new technology in market and consultancy to HQ
- Developing and introducing innovative, market leading composite materials for a variety of industrial applications
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Propose, manage and plan major R&D activities
- Influence the strategic direction of R&D
- Communication with HQ R&D center about new issue and give advice to HQ R&D center.
- Exhibit innovative approach to achieving project activities
- To supervise and motivate staff, identifying training needs, carry out staff performance reviews
- To be recognized as an expert in one's field. Keep abreast of developments and technologies that influence the business
- Lead major project teams, acting as a technical consultant on both R&D and cross functional project teams
- Present experimental results and arguments at all levels both internally and externally. Write detailed technical reports and present to customers and at technical conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and suggest patent protection as required. Manage projects and project documentation to an externally auditable level
- To work in a clean, safe and tidy manner adhering to company policy. To influence safe working practices and enforce as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Good honors degree, or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Material Science, with a background in thermosetting reinforced composites.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage several projects at once.
- Strong communication skills, able to present arguments at the highest level.
- The ability to speak a second language, preferably English, is desirable.
- Confident, proactive and flexible.
- 10 plus years of R&D experience in a chemical industry. (Epoxy for electronics product)
