The Senior Process Engineer is mainly responsible for identifying and implementing plant improvement
programs to enhance productivity, product quality, and reduce cost and waste of industrial processes. As the
key technology expert of a multidisciplinary team of R&D and plant persons, he is responsible for process
data acquisition and interpretation, to identify improvement actions, to guarantee the best process according
to safety, industrial and economical constraints. He obtains data in the laboratory, in the pilot plant during
scale up experiments, or from process simulation work, and uses these data to implement new processes or
process improvements in the industrial plants.

In addition, the job holder will be designated as key technology specialist in one of the following areas:
process safety, key unit operations as there are distillation, liquid/liquid extraction, solid engineering,
liquid/solid separation, reaction and kinetics, corrosion, environmental. As such he will be the key R&D
contact for the Asian zone in this expertise and participate in a World Wide Network for this technology.

Profile :
MS or PhD ; major : chemical engineering
8-10 year working experience (research laboratory or industry), with proven track record of successful
implementation of improvements
