职位描述

Responsibilities

· For the Chinese market, search for and find suppliers that support the business plan outlined from head office
· Execute purchasing strategies and targets.
· Evaluate material and parts suppliers for quality, process control and capacity etc.
· Propose qualified suppliers to Sourcing Head Office
· Work closely with the suppliers to develop new parts and improve sample- as well as production quality
· Work closely with the sourcing team in Head Office to ensure that technical specifications is followed and project schedules are kept
· Price negotiations and contract arrangement with suppliers
· Locally support all orders placed at Chinese suppliers including following ongoing activities regarding tools, production, quality, delivery schedules and logistics.
· Continuously report progress of all activities and the business situation to sourcing teams at head office
· Cooperate with logistic, sales, engineering and production departments to fulfill the lead time targets
· Build a supplier base in Mainland China


Requirements

· University degree in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable fields
· Experience of sourcing and purchasing or other applicable fields preferably from Automotive/ Mechanical Industry
· Experience of working with quality system such as ISO9000, QS9000, TS16949, PPAP level 3 or equal
· Having a strong technical knowledge in and about auto/mechanical industry. Experience in casting, forging and machining
· Experience in working in a manufacturing/quality environment.
· Experience in supplier audit and evaluation.
· Familiar with the necessary cooperation with engineering, production, quality, sales and logistic related to the purchasing issues.
· Very good negotiation and cooperation ability
· Good command of written and spoken English
· Good communication and coordination skills
· Experience from working in a foreign company environment
· Strong planning and analytical skills.
· Working knowledge of MS Office package
· Extensive travelling required.
