The company:
Our client is an industrial plastics products manufacturer from Germany, with over 100 years of
experiences, and over 50 sales network globally. Today the company employs more than 1,300
people in the world. Their legal entity is located in the region of Wuxi, Suzhou and they are
expecting further large growth in the future. They are seeking for a foreign Production Manager
to lead the operations and develop the China market, together with the GM.

Your mission and task:
Your mission will be to manage the entire production of the Wuxi entity. As plant manager you
shall engage and inspire the people in the plant to act and manage 5S driven, high quality
manufacturing. You will be responsible to lead and develop the line managers to make sure that
any technical challenges are treated and solved by the teams. Your goal is to establish a strong
“eager to improve” culture within the production and encourage each staff members to take
ownership for their task. You will plan and execute changes necessary to ensure manufacturing
excellence and stable quality management. With a strong and sustainable production facility,
you will have freedom to develop new applications with customers to explore more possibility
for the company’s growth.

Your profile:
You are a passionate plant manager who has very good overview of the entire operations
management. You have spent your career in manufacturing environment and know how to
create high-level production facility. You have over 8 years working experience in international
manufacturing companies and management experience in China of at least 3 years. Experience
in the plastic industry and knowledge of the extrusion process are a plus. English is the
mandatory language, followed by fluent German; Chinese is a plus. You are a strategic thinker
with excellent communication skills manage employees and ensure the sustainable and high quality
production. For a successful candidate there will be further perspective to grow within
the company.
