Job Description: MES Consultant
The MES Consultant architect the design of manufacturing IT technical solutions for systems and infrastructure. He/She has manufacturing domain knowledge and experience with tools, applications, operating systems, and middleware. (He/She is a conceptual thinker, is able to set a vision and can convince.)
This position requires to work as a Team in delivering the system design and application software engineering of Manufacturing IT Operations projects for Customers.
The incumbent is expected to:
？ Be knowledgeable in the Software Engineering Design Life Cycle and Methodology, Database system development and Web applications integration.
？ Be creative, analytical, accurate, able to work methodically and has organizational awareness
？ Be excellent in communication skills both in English and a local language.
？ Be knowledge and experience with one or more of these standard MES solutions like SAP ME, SIMATIC IT, Wonderware, OSIsoft PI etc
？ Be knowledge and experience in methods such as UML, RUP and Enterprise Architecture
？ Be hand-on in business application analysis, and application solution architecture design
？ Develop and implement the systems integration in MIS, and MES solutions for Customers
？ Responsible for the efficient delivery in the functional and technical engagements.
？ Ensure projects are timely and work products (i.e. analysis design specifications, applications and test cases, documentations) meet quality management system while maintaining project cost control.
Job Requirements
？ Typically poses University degree or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
？ Minimum 5 years of working experiences, with at least 3 years of hand-on project execution, and preferably has completed 1 full manufacturing IT project implementation life cycle and methodology.
？ Team player with good analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
？ Driven and independent. Flexible and adaptable approach to work patterns and priorities
？ Willing and able to travel
？ Prior working experience in the energy, oil & gas utilities or manufacturing in process industry will be preferred
