The purpose of the role
- Assist in managing and developing the client relationship, including project design, proposal writing, planning and research analysis on projects
- Run projects with minimal senior supervision
- Line management responsibility and some involvement in departmental management, including being a representative/advocate for the department
Responsibilities
Client Relationship
- Maintain and nurture client relationships
- Good understanding of client business and market
- Manage and promote delivery to client expectations
Financial Management
- Responsible for monitoring project costs and implementing cost effective solutions
- Play a key role in achieving targets
Proposal Process
- Create or assist with creation and integrity of proposal and pitch (focus on benefits)
- Participate in (or lead straight forward) costing processes, prepare draft costs & check quotations
- Independently compose simple proposal with limited guidance from seniors
Project Management
- Suggest process improvements to suppliers and team
- Drive integration of team members to deliver excellence
- Clarify and manage roles and budget within project team
- Oversee change to meet business and client needs
- Manage the creation & review of materials to meet client needs
Analysis Reporting
- Work with team to generate insight and recommendations to meet client needs
- Responsible for timely, accurate and quality deliverables
- Analyze data patterns in detail to understand significance and identify appropriate action (Quality Assurance)
- Able to do more advanced analysis (complex content analysis, simple factor and cluster analysis etc)
- Able to moderate groups (Qual only
Leadership, Team and People Management
- Seek opportunities to share learning and coach/mentor team
- Proactively responsible for their own learning & development
- Promote team spirit
Communication
- Actively listen and communicate openly with clients and internal teams
- Clearly and persuasively communicate complex issues, internally and externally
- Clearly and accurately write reports, presentations and proposal documents
