Responsibilities:

1. Key individual in pricing life insurance, securing AIG approval of products, and supporting the implementation of jointly developed life products for the PICC relationship

2. Develop all key assumptions in concert with PICC, internal constituents, external sources, and consulting support as necessary

3. Ensure all aspects of the financial performance of the products and the subsequent reinsurance of these products is understood and implemented consistently with the intent of the definitive agreements of the arrangement

4. Understand product design considerations under US and PRC regulation with the intention of being able to optimize product design and be able translate between the two regulatory regimes

5. Understanding of reserve, capital, tax, and investment considerations in PRC market

6. Understanding of competitive landscape in PRC

7. Directly understand and support the economic modelling of the overall transaction.

8. Ensure all documentation necessary to meet internal and external governance exists

Requirements:

1. 5+ years actuarial work experience, preferably in product design and pricing for the PRC market.

2. Proficient in actuarial modeling software (e.g. Prophet, Moses, etc), Excel, Word, and database applications.

3. Solid understanding of regulations that impact product design in the PRC market.

4. Solid understanding of reserving and reporting requirements for products in the PRC market.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to others in a clear, focused, and concise manner.

7. Bi-lingual fluent English and Mandarin language skills
