Position: Product Marketing &Tendering Manager-World Famous Manufacturing Company
Report to: GM
Industry: Manufacture
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all related activities including tendering, product marketing with his/her teams.
Coordinate and manage resource to optimize, develop product driven by market to support the profitable business growth.
Approach to market visibility shall be oriented with profitability toward sustainable increase.
Ensure the provision of high standards of ethical behavior, increase revenue and profitability by managing cost & expenses in line with agreed targets. To coordinate with operations team for developing products and try to bring something to the work that can't be done by the client or our competitors. Emphasis business benefits, service improvements, risk reduction, and reliability.
TENDER MANAGEMENT
Build database and then to analysis all the cost and pricing factors of the bid contracts.
To get the resource and to do the work in a cost-effective way to meet the clients' needs, hit deadlines and respond flexibly to changing situations.
To cooperate with legal council to submit contract value over threshold for tendering reviewing.
Sales price Determining & Margin monitoring base on market situation
Review terms & conditions of contract under authorization
PRODUCT MARKETING DEVELOPMENT
To define unmet customer needs, identify new product definitions, manage product roadmap and champion new strategies and product development priorities to support company growth objectives.
To provide insights and make recommendations which align with short and long term business priorities.
Establish product management system with clear product, product policy, product allocation plan for industry business
Survey competitors and market trend
Finalize the industry business products' catalogs and brochures
Identification of high-potentials with their development plan.
Obtain relevant information on political aspects that determined business environment by monitoring industry business developments, legislation and regulation. Analyze impact of government regulation and policies.
Ensure cooperation with other team, and team spirit.
Be active in business associations and conferences. Target to become a speaker in some.
Requirements:
University degree or above major in business administration, economics, or related. MBA is preferable.
At least 8 years experience of related level position in international foreign company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Chinese).
Good knowledge of international business organization, international business organization, marketing and product Mix.
Good skill of negotiation.
Good knowledge of international business organization and Chinese business environment and its dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to win business and manage client relationships.
Understanding of how to lead and manage teams.
Problem solving and conflict management.
