Job description for a Senior Market Analyst

Position: Senior Market Analyst

Report to: Vice President Business Development of ThyssenKrupp (China) Ltd.

Location: Beijing

Job Time: Full-Time

Required Travel: 20%

As a responsible part of a newly established small, but top-level business development team, we are currently recruiting a Senior Market Analyst.

Main duties:

Research and analyses and presentation of results for top management in China and world-wide

·Focus on research and analysis of markets, competitors, industries, technologies, products

·Main focus industries are plant technology, machinery, elevators, mining and aerospace

·Business forecasts and scenarios

·Macro-economic developments and trends

·Reports to Head of Business Development China

Required skills and experiences:

·Chinese national

·Excellent English

·Master or MBA in Business, Economics, Engineering

·Experience studying or working abroad or working for a foreign-invested company in China for several years

·Minimum of five years relevant work experience in consulting firm or industrial enterprise

·Very structured, analytical and pro-active working style

·Advanced Excel skills absolutely necessary – has to be able to program macros

·Advanced PowerPoint skills

·Knowledge of CRM systems / databases beneficial
