2. Responsibilities &Tasks:

Responsibilities:

· Responsible of the tender preparation and validation according to ALSTOM processes

· Responsible of risk control for technical tender and commercial tender

Tasks:

· Pre-sales support to sales team

· Prepare a technical offer according to RFQ from sales

· Interpret a detailed technical specification to get confirmation from other departments (Supply chain. PM. Engineering. R&D, etc…)

· Ensure response to customer tender clarifications are produced and adequate

· Prepare projects pre-calculation for costing by using ALSTOM tender tools

· Provide bills of materials (including buy-out) and pricing for purchase requisitions.

· Prepare Project Execution Model (including outsourcing )

· Prepare a commercial offer according to RFQ from sales

· Review technical offer. commercial offer and project cost

· Get Technical offer and Commercial offer approved as per ALSTOM processes (supply chain, Engineering, R&D, Risk Committee, etc….)

· Attend meetings with customers for project technical clarification; enquire customer’s concern/needs and project pricing negotiation

3. Performance Measurement:

· Follow ALSTOM tender process

· Response time for technical offer and commercial offer after received RFQ from sales

· Tender release timely.

· Tender competitiveness as per market

· Hit rate bid yearly

5. Qualification, Competencies & Experience:

· Education

· Engineering degree or equivalent with speciality in Electronics, Automation (Control & Instrumentation, Electrical engineering).

· Fluent in English. CET 4 or above.

· Specific knowledge and skills

· In depth knowledge of M&D products

· In basic knowledge of DCS and instruments

· Be able to interpret M&D product of system architecture, read field external connection drawings, hardware redundancy, cabinet arrangement drawings, power supply sizing, function codes,

· Ability to accept and deal with criticism, ability to cope with conflicts

· Ability of overall thinking, ability to deal with complex systems and to explain complex issues is clear and concise terms

· Being familiar with technical negotiation methods.

· Ability to withstand heavy work load

· Quick learning ability

· Knowledge of the product line and industry practices

· At least 2 years of experience in industry, prefer in power plant

· At least 2 years of experience in tendering activity
