BASIC REQUIREMENT 4 Year College Degree 10 Years Progressive experience in quality, maintenance, production, or engineering. BASIC PURPOSE To oversee, control and lead a safe production operation, ensuring to provide technical service for process, ensuring that a quality product is produced at a minimal cost in conjunction with production schedules, ensuring the equipment is maintained regularly and preventively. ADMINISTRATION (20%) Directs, counsels and advises teammates with regard to assignments. Administers company policies consistently. Reviews teammates’ performance, offers suggestions and plans for development and improvement. Develops objectives for production operations. Coordinates training for teammates Schedules and conducts production meetings to develop and maintain understanding and cooperation among departments. Recommends employment, transfers, promotions and separations of production, maintenance and process teammates. Responsible for the Obud and MTP budget in terms of production, equipment maintenance and process. PRODUCTION (30%) Controls and coordinates production operations. Observes plant operations and analyzes production records to determine the appropriate action to improve product quality and working conditions and to reduce costs. Reviews with management material conditions and shortages, equipment condition, special orders and programs for handling unusual situations regarding production schedules. Evaluates schedule to determine enrollment needs and equipment required. Consults with other departments relative to department matters such as inventory, schedule shortages, defective, etc. in an effort to solve mutual problems and maintain production as scheduled. Reviews previous shifts performance with teammates and makes recommendations for prevention and elimination of difficulties. Interprets and executes company policies related to production operations. Participates in discussions related to coordination of work of several departments in connection with plant efficiency, factory costs and labor problems (see other scope on page 4) Equipment Maintenance and troubleshooting (10%) Arrange maintenance team to service production equipment on a timely schedule and trouble shoot if equipment breaks down Technical Service (10%) Arrange Technical service team to set up and qualify new equipment and manufacturing process and improves existing processes, Provide technical service for production for conformance to quality and production standards. COSTS (10%) Establish objectives to meet plant-wide objective. Review overall operations analyzing schedules and production output with teammates to ensure goals are attained. Recommends introduction, elimination or improvement of procedures to increase effectiveness of plant operations. Analyses machine schedules to ensure maximum efficiency with minimum number of teammates required. Reviews direct labor to reduce unnecessary expenditures. SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING – (10%) Review with teammates to ensure orderly departments are maintained, thereby minimizing injuries, waste and defective. Makes recommendations for improved or additional safety features as required. Work with human resources, and tasks initiative in providing for safety of all teammates. MISCELLANEOUS – (10%) Other duties as assigned by Managers
