Position: Manufacturing Quality Manager

Summary of main purpose:
# Ensure all products shipped to customer meet Customer specifications by ensuring Quality Control plans are developed, fully implemented and continuously improved;
# Implement, develop and improve Manufacturing Quality related process in line with all Quality certification standards;
# Key participant to audit process according to Annual Audit plan to ensure proper application of processes in manufacturing organization;
# Support GMS Quality Manager in the development of the company Quality culture in Manufacturing and play leading role in the high standard implementation of Quality tools in manufacturing;
# Prepare with GMS Quality manager customer visits and audits and target NC free result;
# Identify, prepare and follow up Quality KPI's and objectives for Manufacturing Team and report to Manufacturing Manager.

Responsibilities:
# Develop yearly manufacturing quality unit objectives and follow up;
# Manage manufacturing quality team following all HR policies and processes;
# Organize Monthly Quality meeting and follow up on actions;
# Organize the Inspection team to assess quality in FQA/PQC (manufacturing), IQC (supplier quality) as well as OQC (logistic) with delivery performance commitment;
# Participate in the development of Quality control plans and ensure application with Inspector team;
# Lead Quality engineer to establish efficient inspection methods ( FQA /PQC/ IQC / OQC );
# Monitor Manufacturing and trading CATS performance in term of quality of 8D report and lead-time etc;
# Report the KPI and unit activities to Manufacturing Manager as required and defined and support GMS Quality manager in the follow up and reporting of Quality cost;
# Participate and support Champion program activities according to define role as champion;
# Implement carefully FAI process including part and process approval;
# Escalate Quality issues as required and lead root cause analysis for key quality issues and prepare report with GMS Quality Manager for Customer;
# Lead the cross function team to improve quality performance;
# Work closely with Sourcing Quality engineer on components quality by reporting clearly issues and performance. Support TQRDC process for related manufacturing aspects;
# Manage the calibration process to maintain all gages / measuring instruments etc. calibration status up-to-date;
# Ensure all related processes are implemented, review and improved regularly;
# Promote Quality First approach through application of professional and methodical approach of Quality;
# Respond to enquiries from internal customers, suppliers, peers, managers and employees;
# Promote employee participation and development with involvement of all employees;
# Be responsible for compiling or optimizing the standard of IRIS within quality concern aspect if needed, implement GMS properly to meet the company ISO and IRIS system request;
# The Manufacturing Quality Manager has the authority to stop production line and product shipment in case Quality of the product cannot be met according to Customer requirement and the company Quality commitment to Customers;

Requirements:
# Engineering degree or equivalent;
# More than 3 years working experience in quality management such as quality assurance supervisor, quality manager etc;
# Knowledgeable and experienced with Quality tools with green or black belt qualification;
# Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and related quality systems. Advantageous to have IRIS, UL and TUV previous exposure;
# Experience on Process quality control organization;
# Tactful and interactive in resolving customer and internal complaints;
# Good and proven management experience preferable with Quality team;
# Good communication and coordination skills;
# Proficient in English, including oral, reading and writing.
