Vocational Training / Profession / Major:
Must have Graduate/University degree in engineering
Must have Min. 2 years of CAD based mechanical
/optics design & development & required
electric/electronic system design experience.
Available design experience in lighting or for
architecture area would be a plus.
Language Skills:
Chinese as native
English skills for daily design & development works, as well
as in written for global communication
Job-related Experience:
Engineering team leadership experience
Electronic products production
Excellent business sense & skills for customer
Project management process
Additional Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Must be an expert in CAD based optical design with
experience in cooperation with tooling supplier
Must have the "drive" that ensures you are being
recognized as the natural product owner.
Must have a strong and balanced technical and cost sense, to
achieve the best possible price/performance ratio as a
technical tradeoff.
Tasks /Area of Responsibility
A Product design & development via CAD tools
1 To be the expert about the Industries products from the design philosophy, features, testing methods to work out the optimized product engineering solution for the China market & local customers.
2 To be the expert of the specific optical CAD design & development tool chain, product development procedures, and to be active to implement for each product solution.
3 Setup of the product design & development environment, tools chain from the beginning.
4 Based on the product optics practice to work out the local based solution & new product variants to extend the existing product portfolio.
5 To be the expert for the public lighting related national norms & regulations, and implement them in the daily development process
6 To work together with the tooling suppliers, and provide actively guidance & suggestions to achieve the best price performance tradeoff.
