Key Purpose

1. Develop and execute HP 2015 APR region specific business and marketing plans and align these with the global business and marketing plans;
2. Establish relationships with key OEMs and major players in the respective area of business development;
3. Identify projects directly with OEMs and integrate us into their supply chain;
4. Determine additional products, features etc. needed to differentiate us from other competition;
5. Recommend strategic actions and potential partnerships in all steps of the value chain.

Responsibility

1. Contribute to improve safety performance by following all established safety and loss prevention practices by demonstrating a high level of safety awareness and by proactively addressing all safety concerns;
2. Protect the health of employees, the community and the environment by ensuring that all activities performed are in full compliance with our hygiene standards and all environmental laws and regulations;
3. Plan and execute the introduction of our branded products in medical device and consumables industry (MedTech.);
4. Identify key trends and needs in this industry to introduce the usage of (high performance) polymer materials in a broad range of medical devices and consumables;
5. Be responsible for the approval and sales of products in this field;
6. Development of strategic partners and long term plans in American region.

Requirements:

1. Master degree in polymer or related major;
2. Min 5 years of business development experience with other international companies in medical industry;
3. Plastics part design with engineering and high performance polymers;
4. Regulatory requirements in Med tech. applications;
5. Proven market development performance in emerging technologies;
6. Good command of spoken & written English, able to communicate with colleagues in Europe on business discussions.
