Position: Deputy Director Controlling - China Manufacturing
Reporting to: CFO Manufacturing
Location: Songjiang, Shanghai
Job Description
? In charge of costing, monthly closing, financial analysis, planning and budgetary control;
? Lead and develop controlling teams in the company's manufacturing sites and head office;
? Performing the Controlling relevant tasks within the closing and financial reporting; finalizing the monthly P&L;
? Prepare the company's budget and regular financial forecasts;
? Prepare monthly management reports highlighting and analyzing plan variances in factory profitability and key operating lead indicators;
? Prepare profitability analyses with detailed view on the development of product cost and margin;
? Perform periodic backlog margin reviews and profit forecasts;
? Monitor and explain actual cost reductions against the target;
? Develop an integrated reporting system to measure company performance;
? Appraise investment concepts and prepare make-or-buy analyses and follow ups and provide recommendations;
? Perform regular audits in cost control and inventory management;
? Responsible for the effective implementation and continuous enhancement of the internal control procedures;
? Leading role in corporate initiatives for value creation, cost and inventory reduction.
Requirement
? University Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration;
? Solid knowledge in financial accounting (IFRS and PRC GAAP) and management accounting, with related qualifications;
? Deep knowledge in SAP R/3, ideally operated within a multi-site production operation;
? Solid experience in using advanced IT tools for performance measurement for Controlling purpose (e.g. Business Intelligence);
? A minimum of three years relevant experience in a similar position;
? Prior experience and track record in controlling functions within a manufacturing environment;
? Mature personality. Great team player with strong leadership, managerial skills and effectiveness in problem solving situations;
? Strong sense of strategic planning, and with excellent analytical skills;
? Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
