The responsibilities:

？Understand the requirements that you are working to and ensure they are documented.

？Contribute to complete and effective engineering plans and schedules, including planning own activities.

？Provide high quality and imaginative technical solutions/deliverables that meet required specifications within timescales and budgets, under the guidance of a more senior engineer when necessary.

·Ensure own designs meet all relevant safety and regulatory requirements and are formally verified to meet these and other specifications (performance, cost) according to engineering procedures.

？Inform others in the department and the relevant project team of progress.

·Understand and adhere to quality system, and introduce improvements to its effectiveness.

·Share knowledge and experience with peer groups in other project teams.

？Plan own personal career, discussing with manager to seek support if necessary, and maintain professional competence.

Note: a student Electronics Engineer will perform some of the above tasks.

The hiring requirements:

·Academic qualifications, for example, a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

·At least 1 year working in a similar R and D environment.

·Ability to read relevant technical documents and write simple documents such as test plan and test report in English.

·Relevant experience of working with CAD tools such as Solid Edge, Solid Works.

·Knowledge and design skills in analog and digital circuit design.

·Direct experience of regularly using an electronic Product Data Management system for managing the technical engineering configuration of products and parts.

Authorities of an Electronics Engineer are:

？To be able to create and check the technical product documentation.

To be able to review the technical product documentation as and when required.

·Basic skills of doing Design FMEA and risk analysis.

·Basic communication skills and ability to organize and chair meetings.

·Basic knowledge of relevant procedures & processes related to product creation and product maintenance.

·General knowledge of Regulatory & IEC Standards related to radiotherapy equipment is desired.

·Direct experience of regularly using an electronic Product Data Management system is desired.
