Import and Trade Compliance Controller will be responsible for performing all the operations from goods pickup thru to inbound customs clearance and timely delivery to production line, and to comply with government regulations related to international trade.

?Manage the inbound logistics operations from supplier materials collection to timely delivery to factory production line to meet the requirements of manufacturing
?Continuously comply the import and e-book operations to meet the requirements of Customs, CIQ, MOFCOM, SAFE and other authorities
?Create and manage e-book to support manufacturing/customer order delivery
?Monitor the process of import customs clearance and coordinate to guarantee the timeliness, especially for P1 shipments
?Handle the U-turn of RM and inbound of commercial parts into bonded zone
?Work together with warehouse to make sure all bonded items are managed efficiently and in compliance
?Support the return of imported goods/product to overseas suppliers
?Management of temporary import shipments to support R&D and other functions
?Cooperate with finance to provide the documents for outward payment to overseas suppliers
?Manage the performance of suppliers related to inbound operations such as broker, forwarder, LSP, etc.
?Verify the debit notes and make payment to service suppliers
?Liaise with relevant government authorities (including customs, CIQ, MOFCOM, etc.) as necessary to ensure optimum cost and time for importing materials and products
?Continuously strive to improve the processes and procedures related to import, e-book management and trade compliance
?Ensure inbound logistics and customs support is given to all departments as necessary
?Ensure the work is performed in accordance with Elekta’s value and global processes with local adaptation where necessary
?Manage all assigned tasks, escalating areas of concern
?Work as a team player in line with Elekta’s value and global OF strategy

?At least 3 years industrial work experience, preferably for a medium to large global company within order fulfillment, import/export, trade compliance, logistics or supply chain function
?Knowledge of import/export and e-book procedures
?Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
?Experience of bonded logistics operation
?Project management skills is a plus
?Commercial awareness and recognition of revenue recognition
