The MOD Ecosystem team is dedicated to expanding the reach and value of Office by enabling developers to bring solutions built on the Office suite of applications to a variety of platforms, and by proving out the platform and energizing the China ecosystem through the creation of compelling apps. We will have an exciting mix of challenges, from creating an innovative framework for hosting web content in mobile Office scenarios to building exciting real apps and services that add value to Office and create buzz around the new app model.

We are looking to hire a strong SDE II with a passion for building a developer ecosystem that bridges the best from Office and the web. Our team’s charter includes:
Expand support of Office Apps (Agave) infrastructure to mobile platforms
Develop a hosting strategy, infrastructure, and optics for first party apps
Build compelling apps & services for both the world and China markets

We are seeking someone with great passion for mobile platforms, the China developer ecosystem, and apps. We want somebody with deep technical skills, a team player who has strong design skills and a willingness to break new ground with this v1 team. Experience with shipping developer technologies, non-Windows OS, services, and web content are a plus.

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record for design and implementation of complex software systems or applications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience shipping high-quality software products
- A university computer science degree or equivalent
- Strong proficiency with C++/C# coding/debugging skill
- Strong architecture and design skill
- Successful delivery of multiple releases of complex, on-schedule, and high-quality products
- Strong ability to collaborate and execute on multiple project timelines and priorities
- Understanding of Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery) strongly desired
- Strong customer focus and passion for doing what’s right for the customer
