Marketing PR Manager

Job Description
Reporting to the head of Strategy & Insights, you are accountable for creating a successful leverage between marketing activities and PR opportunities to promote the agency.
You participate in the development of communication plans, content creation and distribution. You are responsibl for turning these plans into pragmatic ‘unpaid’ public relation approaches (on content and themes) via digital and traditional channels.
You plan and write to support communications needs including identifying, packaging and distribution of content. You are using multimedia production and desktop publishing skills.
Proactive and independent, you work in close conjunction with the local country offices, global marketing, other agency partners and the press/influential bloggers. You are responsible for enhancing the media pool and relationship with local media and KOLs for media coverage.
You support new business development and are required to establish and develop relationships within key company stakeholders and account leads.

Responsibilities:
· Co-define and implement public relations activities in traditional printed, online and social media
· Develop and produce thought leadership content (case studies, news, stories, articles) and negotiate its publishing by the media as well as self publish
· Develop and maintain contacts with reporters and bloggers
· Develop B2B marketing collaterals
· Lead production and participation in industry awards
· Work with key agency stakeholders promotion
· Plan and organize events
· Evaluate China events and speaking opportunities for corporate participation.
· Organize and oversee interviews with HAVAS MEDIA spokespeople
Requirements and Skills:
· Bachelor or above
· 2-4 years minimum of successful hands-on experience in marketing communications in China
· Deep knowledge of community and social media management
· Natural content creator, writer and/or editor
· Desktop publishing and multi-media skills
· Established media contacts. Experience in journalism is a plus
· Exceptional communication skills. Native Chinese speaker. Excellent Chinese writing skills and fluency in English are required.
· Impeccable organization and multitasking skills
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail
· Independent, self-starter able to work with a minimum of supervision
· Ability to adjust to a variety of situations and personalities and be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to complete a project accurately and on time
