The Role / Responsibilities:
The individual will play an integral role in the development and implementation of Moody's strategy for new rating clients and key constituents such as capital market bankers primarily in North Asia region.
· Planning and execution of business development programs.
· Researching trends in Asia's debt capital markets.
· Work as part of regional and global teams spanning the entire spectrum of Moody’s business activities.
· Assisting in the preparation of analysis and presentations for client meetings, and coordinating issuer and intermediary meetings.
Qualifications:
University graduate.
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
2 to 3 years relevant business experience in the financial markets an advantage.
Strong analytical and communications skills.
Flexible, resourceful with problem solving skills.
Engaging and able to connect with clients.
A fast learner with the passion to learn and willingness to take the initiative.
Articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task and to prioritize multiple projects.
Culturally sensitive.
Department / Team
The selected candidate will be part of a small team in Shanghai, and work closely with colleagues located in other China and Asia Pacific offices. The Relationship Management team is responsible for developing commercial relationships with rating clients 17 countries in North and South Asia, covering financial institutions, corporates, sovereigns and sub-sovereigns; as well as all classes of structured finance transactions.
