职位描述

The Role / Responsibilities:
Based in Shanghai, this role is responsible for leading the strategic marketing of Moody’s credit ratings in the central and southern regions of mainland China. A key objective is to achieve targeted growth in Moody’s leading international ratings coverage in China with a primary focus on ratings for SOEs, corporates and financial institutions.

The successful candidate will develop and implement a regional calling plan on prospective clients as well as marketing activities with financial intermediaries and other significant market participants, working in close coordination with business development colleagues in other offices. He/she will keep abreast of market dynamics for ratings, and factor into a dynamic outreach plan and approach as well as communicate these to senior management.

Responsibilities also include maintaining strong and productive relationships with relevant regulatory and government agencies, as well as representing Moody’s at various events and external conferences. The successful candidate’s performance will be benchmarked according to increases in Moody’s market share, absolute number of new rating mandates, meeting calling targets, and overall revenue generation.

Significant travel is required across the central eastern and southern regions of China.

Applicants with MBA or Master’s level degree preferred. The successful candidate should have gained extensive business experience in the debt capital markets and/ or business consulting within a multinational environment, including in China. Credit analysis experience is an advantage. The individual should be a self-starter, and be able to work autonomously in a small team while also having strong communication abilities that support effective engagement at senior management level. Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects are essential. Strong English language skills required.


Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related fields.
· MBA or Masters qualification preferred.
· Extensive business experience in the dept capital market and/or business consulting.
· Credit analysis skills would be advantageous.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects are essential
· The candidate should possess experience in building strong client relationships with CFOs, Treasurers and Heads of Finance.
· Fluency in Mandarin and English


Department / Team
The selected candidate will lead a small team in Shanghai, and work closely with colleagues located in other China and Asia Pacific offices. The Relationship Management is responsible for developing commercial relationships with rating clients across 17 countries in North and South Asia, covering financial institutions, corporates, sovereigns and sub-sovereigns; as well as all classes of structured finance transactions.
