职位描述
The Role :
The individual will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the Rating Agency’s strategy for a defined business development portfolio in North China region. Reporting to the VP, Business Development in China, the individual will also provide support to more senior team members of other territories. The job holder will also act as a deputy to more senior team members and improve competitive position.
Qualifications:
· 7-plus years financial services industry experience essential, capital markets and/or credit analysis experience preferred.
· Very good communication skills (written and oral), Mandarin and English.
· Business development/client relationship/sales skills and experience.
· Capacity to quickly develop strong negotiation skills.
· Capacity to understand ratings process, legal and compliance considerations.
· Excellent administrative/organisational skills.
The Responsibilities
Customer Outreach/Market Outreach
· Review press/market data/MIS research and keep up to date on markets/clients/competition.
· Undertake credit and research analysis on potential target clients and their likelihood of requiring a rating.
· Ensure promotional materials for client meetings prepared.
· Secure and arrange target client meetings for own territory and for senior team members.
· Conduct face to face meetings with targets to promote Moody's with a view to securing new rating mandates and updating targets on latest MIS developments.
· Conduct extensive discussions with intermediaries and key high profile issuers to articulate Moody's rating practises.
· Attend Moody's and external briefings and conferences to develop expertise on business and market contacts.
· Maintain close contact with analysts to ensure market intelligence shared within the team.
Contracts/ Billings
· Prepare standard or complex engagement documents for clients and track engagements.
· Discuss and negotiate standard Terms & Conditions with client.
· Communicate effectively with other departments e.g Billing, Collections, to facilitate resolution of queries and outstanding issues to enable issuers to pay invoices in a timely fashion.
· Escalate any issues or problems to more senior colleagues in a timely fashion to ensure timely and effective resolution
Data Quality & Reporting
· Responsible for timely system input of data and timely filing of documentation.
· Find ways to streamline and integrate IT/system to facilitate seamless process from signing to rating.
· Provide data on request for reporting and support more senior members of the team with reporting obligations.
· Provide input into budget/forecast where necessary
Others:
· Assist with management of Associate.
· Assist with training of new hires and junior resources.
· Responsible for making suggestions for training for new hires and junior resources in the team.
· Work with VP to draft performance evaluations for direct reports.
