The SBC Compliance Team aims to drive risk mitigation and a culture of uncompromising integrity through the following areas of focus:
• Suspected fraud & escalation handling: The team will conduct research on suspected fraud for allegations owned by the local country SBC Councils before initiating further audit/investigation according to HP investigation guidelines. The country SBC Councils (local HR/Legal/Finance) rely on the SBC Compliance team to conduct investigations on complex allegations locally owned. As and when needed, the team will support investigations escalated to the Ethics and Compliance Office.
• Training program: The objective is to increase employee awareness and hence compliance of HP policies, standards and business processes. To enable the development of a comprehensive training program, the SBC Compliance Team will work with subject matter experts, L&D and country management to drive training materials and schedule alignment. The focus is on sales processes and tools and sales compensation, order management process, channel compliance policies and finance topics like revenue recognition.
• Business process & control improvement: as a result of self-audits and investigation findings, the team is chartered to identify process or business control improvement opportunities and to initiate improvement opportunity discussion with business stakeholders and/or process owners.
• Data/information analysis and report: To establish a baseline and compliance landscape of SEA countries, the team will gather and analyze data/information in order to provide regular updates to SEA and the country leadership teams.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required |
• Accounting / Finance / Commerce degree • Certified internal auditor, certified fraud examiner is preferred. • Prior internal auditor or fraud investigator experience is preferred • Prior experience in sales, business operations or channel management an added advantage. • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities in both English and Chinese • Good judgment and decision making skills • Strong analytical skills • Strong People management skills (3+ years) |
