- For our Metal Technologies entity, Siemens are looking to recruit an experienced Safety(EHS) Manager. This role will be responsible for the EHS of Metal Technologies

What are my responsibilities?
- Maintain EHS Management System and enhance/drive EHS culture. Prepare organization for internal and external audits by provision of training or other means or information (Cooperate closely with other functions e.g. QM, SM….
- Ensure that the corporate EHS Policy is introduced for all employees and suppliers’ employees within his/her sphere of activity
- Provide EHS support to field service and related departments. Ensure all site activities are supported regarding H&S matters including compiling and issuing environmental notes
- Write, control and maintain detailed method statements and hazard identification and risk assessments to cover all site activities: liaising with customers on site EHS matters
- Implement control measures which are defined in the risk assessments and are appropriate for the activities undertaken in his/her area of responsibility.
- Define, write and maintain site related EHS documentation required in support of product training centers courses
- Deliver EHS training to both internal and external employees as required by EHS policy and ensure validity of training.
- Ensure all site related EHS legislation is complied with. Monitor any changes in current legislation and comply with any new legislation
- Administrate defect/error and incident reporting tools (e.g. Fitback, PCM / QIR / KRIMA Systems) Investigate, root cause analysis, identify corrective and preventive measure, introduce and monitor corrective action measures for faults/malfunctions/defects/accidents
- Plan and perform internal audits (EHS), process reviews and external audits for supplier's qualification and supporting of supply management
- Conduct regular safety inspections in his/her area of responsibility and take the necessary action to solve problems that are identified and to prevent a recurrence.
- Coordinate with MT Corporate and Siemens Sector EHS representatives and implement/ amend their guidelines if applicable.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Engineer (Diploma / Degree)
- Industrial Safety / Environment, Health and Safety (Diploma / Degree)
- At least 8 years relevant experience in EHS field
- EHS procedures and regulations (National & International preferred)
- Relevant technical product & service knowledge
- Problem solving techniques
- EHS related Reporting and documentation
- Experience in collaboration with multi-cultural teams, working in different customer cultures
- Internal regulations, processes and procedures
- Cost Estimation and cost awareness
- Knowledge of Field Service and Metal Industry
- Certification of National Safety Engineer preferred
- Experience in Project Management
- Accustomed with EHS relevant statutory obligations
