- Mission: For SFLL we are looking for a Head of Field Sales to be based in Shanghai to provide leadership to the current field sales team and achieve ambitious growth goals for SFLL.

What are my responsibilities? 我的工作职责是什么？
The role is fully responsible for:
- Generate new business volume in order to achieve business targets via the effective management of the sales force;
- Develop the sales pipeline via regular and effective pipeline assessments, seeking not only to maintain the existing pipeline, but to consistently develop this for future sales opportunities;
- Manage customer relationships (CRM) effectively in order to find, attract, and win new customers; retain existing customers, entice quality former customers to return, and attract new customers via our relationships;
- Implement and continuously improve effective account management practice to ensure all accounts perform to their maximum potential; ensure effective account planning processes are in place;
- Drive the high performance culture, lead the sales force, and managing their performance in a manner that inspires, recognizes and rewards employees to deliver and realize their potential.
The role is also expected to work closely with the China CEO and share the following responsibilities:
- Drive the development of the sales strategy, work with the China CEO to ensure the business remains on track for the achievement of its strategic goals;
- Actively contribute to the development of new products by ensuring the Business Development Team remains abreast with market developments and customer needs, also providing innovative ideas and solutions as to how we can better serve our customers;
- Actively contribute to the development of the risk strategy, working with the risk function to ensure our business remains of the desired quality.

What do I need to qualify for this job? 我如何才能胜任？
Requirements
- The successful candidate is currently a senior and experienced business-to-business sales executive (direct to end customers) with proven track record selling financial products, preferably within a commercial bank's loan or asset/vendor finance areas, leasing company or other equipment finance type of business; sales executives with equipment finance experience from an industrial or healthcare equipment manufacturer could also be considered;
- Mature and credible sales leader with successful delivery of results in effective business process development, and with potential to be developed into GM roles;
- Results and customer oriented with proven results from previous employers or positions;
- Demonstrable exposure and experience in risk, operations and sales management functions and proven experience of successfully and reliably operating within MNC corporate compliance frameworks
- Strong leadership skills are critical, with proven experience of effectively leading and developing people to success over large geographies and multiple team structures (responsibility of 50+ employees required)
- Experience in both multinational companies and local Chinese companies, and exposure to an international working environment;
- Proven abilities in strategic thinking and innovation;
- The ability to relate to cultures outside China, in Asia, and work internationally;
- A good level of confidence, but not arrogance; also required are pragmatism, collaboration, intercultural sensitivity and commercialism;
- Networking and relationship building across hierarchies and diverse groups;
- Strong presentation and communications skills in public in both English and Chinese;
- Preferably Beijing based, possibly Shanghai, and willing to regularly undertake national and international travels.
