Summary:

1. To work together with local product development teams to identify issues in product and project, and create requests to FEA/CFD for analysis.

2. Design and analysis the performance and efficiency, cavitation of centrifugal pump using CFD methods.

3. Structural analysis of major centrifugal pump components using commercial Ansys and Creo with minimal support. Stress, fatigue and vibration.

4. Interface with test labs for validating pump designs and developing and optimizing hydraulic model. Documentation of procedures and results is a key requirement.

5. To use FEA/CFD tool to make analysis to support local product development and improvement projects. The analysis includes build ProE models, mesh, boundary condition, calculation, post-processing and release analysis report etc, familiar with mechanisms and to be able to define boundary condition properly.

6. To discuss about analysis result with other functional areas and to interpret the result into action plans to support product design and problem solving.

7. Design & development of new pump and technique support for current products

Qualification:

1 PhD or Master, major in Mechanics or Fluid or closely related subjects. Good knowledge of Mechanics or Fluid Dynamics theories.

2 Good working experience with FEA tool ANSYS and related CFD software like CFX, Fluent, and 3+years experience with problem solving using these tools.

3. Good experience with simulation tool in Creo 2.0.

4. Ability and desire to simplify theories to practical application. Ability to apply structured problem solving skill to optimize product and develop process solutions.

5. Project management skills in cross-functional teams.

6. Ability to communicate globally and build local CFD/FEA ability.

7. Excellent written and spoken English.

8. Ability to work independently.
