Responsibilities:

1 Assist service engineer(s) with pre-job planning, workshop assembly and testing operations.

2 Participate in pre-job briefing prior to traveling to the rig site.

3 Inspect equipment at the rig site and report to Company representative.

4 Perform pre-job checks and prepare equipment for installation.

5 Liaise with Company Rep., Tool Pusher, Drill Crew and Drilling Engineer on the running and handling of the Liner equipment.

6 Report to base on any problem or malfunction and provide a comprehensive service report.

7 Complete job reports and well completion schematics for future reference.

8 Review job with Operations / Product Line Manager when job is completed.

9 Perform workshop duties, including:

a) Service, repair and maintenance of equipment in a cost effective manner and in accordance with company procedures.

b) Maintain good standard of housekeeping practices in workshop and yard.

10 Liaise with/supervise the on-site rig crew, to ensure correct equipment handling during installation.

11 Install or assist in the installation of Weatherford equipment using proven and established working practices within the remit of Quality and Safety Management Systems.

12 Ensure that all possible preparations have taken place, equipment is fit for use and all pre-installation checks/testing have been carried out. Also to ensure that all documentation and/or certification is relative to equipment.

13 Maintain appropriate contact with client customer representative at the well site and ensure that relevant operational personnel are continually updated on current job status. Produce in depth reports, according to Weatherford standards well site activities prior to and during installation.

14 Attend operations meetings to share and update on recent well-site activities and new equipment/processes/technical information. Also to be briefed on Weatherford business pertaining to operational activities.

15 Attend pre-job briefing and debriefing meetings to updated on customer requirements and/or parameters and communicate prepared reports to the relevant Service Managers and assist in follow-up reporting/processing as required. De-briefs to be completed as soon as is practicable on return to base to minimize effect on ongoing operations.

16 Update intranet database with pertinent job data.

17 Ensure personal training records are updated regularly. Communicate with supervisor/management to ensure sufficient training and mentoring is available.

18 Responsible for the maintenance of technical files on the local network server.

19 Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude and general team spirit with an emphasis on inter-department relations.

20 Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirement

· Good knowledge of rig floor operations and associated tool handling procedures.

· Ability to read and understand Engineering drawing s and procedures.

· Good English and written communications skills.

· Mechanical / Engineering background.

· Experience in Cementing or DST operations.

· Ability to operate general hand tools.

· Excellent computer knowledge.
