Position Title: Supplier Quality Engineer (33000BR)
Responsibilities:
？ The Supplier quality engineer is actively involved in all supplier quality activities from supplier selection, supplier development through on-going performance monitoring:
？ He/she is an active member in the supplier selection and business award decision
？ He/she is responsible to carry out the Quality Assurance activities in the frame of on-going projects in accordance with documented Powertrain guidelines and instruction
？ He/she manages portfolio of suppliers as assigned by SQA manager
？ He/she is in charge to communicate the quality targets and quality requirements to suppliers and make sure of their respect
？ He/she has the responsibility to manage and challenge the overall quality performance of suppliers delivering any Volvo locations
？ For parts in production, he/she is responsible to steer supplier improvement and request corrective actions
Requirements:
？ Capacity to work in a multicultural team
？ Good communication and negotiation skills
？ Good analytic skill and logical way of thinking
？ Committed to customer satisfaction
？ Self driven
？ This job needs to travel to suppliers frequently in China and abroad
？ University degree required. Master of Science preferred
？ Minimum 3 years experience in automotive APQP / PPAP quality process,
？ Chinese and English language skills compulsory
？ Knowledge on Powertrain components (inc. Engine, Transmission, Axle) and their manufacturing process is preferred
